When I was first aware of the hand lettering Project, I instantly knew what I wanted to do. I chose my favorite biblical verse, Proverbs 28:1. I chose this Proverb, because it shows that those who have strength and faith in God will stand up to whatever challenge, while the greedy and evil will run away from their problems. I chose to make the poster look like this because it is old verse, and I wanted to create that antique feeling when you looked at it. I chose to give the word "wicked" a weaker text to symbolize evil's lack of strength, and darkened/emphasized "righteous" to symbolize strength. I didn't want to dramatize the letters or colors to really express the seriousness and deepness of the verse.
